Virginia is for Nature Lovers

The Inn at Eagles' Watch is located within the Virginia Department of Wildlife Resource's (DWR) 5,217 acre Chickahominy Wildlife Management Area (WMA).

This coastal plain along the tidal river consists primarily of woodlands offering a variety of habitat types. It is ideal for observing a multitude of native plant and animal species.

Outdoor adventurers will enjoy bird watching including osprey and bald eagles, plus hiking, kayaking, hunting and fishing* just outside our backdoor.

A current state license or DWR Access Permit is required for kayaking, hunting, fishing or otherwise visiting the WMA grounds. Please contact the front desk if you would like to plan these activities during your stay.
