Reservations made through our website (powered by Sirvoy) are considered requests until confirmed by the front desk. 

Upon confirmation, a deposit will be charged to the card on file equal to one-night’s accommodations (plus taxes & fees) and a booking confirmation email sent. At this point, any changes are subject to our cancellation policy.

Due to the size of our establishment, cancellations significantly affect us. As such, we have implemented the following cancellation policy. 

• Cancellations made at least 30 days prior to arrival will receive a full refund without penalty. 

• If your reservation is cancelled between 29 - 8 days of arrival, we will move your deposit to new dates based on availability; or, provide a refund of the deposit less a 20% cancellation fee. 

• Cancellations made inside of 7 days of your scheduled check-in date will result in the forfeiture of the deposit. 

• Failure to cancel (no shows), will be charged for the total amount of their reservation (including taxes, fees and extras) to the card on file.

During the ongoing Covid-19 crisis, please contact us as soon as possible with changes to your reservations. Anyone experiencing symptoms of illness should stay home! 

We will examine refunds and rescheduling on a case-by-case basis at this time.

Check-in time is between 3 - 5 PM. If you plan to arrive outside of this window, we ask that you notify us ahead of time. Guests may be asked to keep in touch the day of travel.

Check-out is at 11 AM. Flexible timing will be accommodated whenever possible with advance notice.

Food is prepared in a kitchen that is not licensed as a restaurant and is thereby not subject to Virginia Department of Health (VDH) regulations governing restaurants.

Please let us know prior to your arrival of any allergies, food or dietary restrictions. 

The historic home was constructed in 1685 and has restrictions for certain guests depending on physical abilities. All entrances to the Inn require the use of stairs. 

Our location is remote therefore internet access is limited. We recommend guests utilize a personal hotspot if needed. All cellular carriers are serviceable on the property.

Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the Inn at Eagles’ Watch property. That includes all guest rooms, indoor and outdoor common areas, the driveway, lawn and garden. A $750 fee will be assessed to the card on file for anyone found in violation of this policy. The use of candles or incense is also prohibited. 

Damages caused to the guest rooms, common areas, property or its contents will be assessed and charged to the guest’s credit card on file. Please report all spills, breakages or problems promptly to the innkeeper. 

The Inn is most appropriate for children 12 and over. Please contact us with questions about younger guests.

We love animals, however we are unable to accommodate guests’ pets.

Our dogs, Scout and Atticus, will not be on-site during your stay.
